DESCRIPTION:The Blue Center for Global Strategic Assessment will host a lec
 ture on “AI and Cybersecurity\,” as part of the center’s Co-Lectures
  in the Theory and Practice of Statecraft series. The lecture will be deli
 vered by Scott Shapiro\, the Charles F. Southmayd Professor of Law and Pro
 fessor of Philosophy at Yale Law School\, and Gen. (Ret.) Timothy Haugh\, 
 the former Director of the National Security Agency and Commander of U.S. 
 Cyber Command.\n\nThe series pairs practitioners from government and indus
 try with Yale professors to deliver joint\, hour-long lectures on subjects
  of mutual expertise. Practitioners discuss events or policy initiatives i
 n which they participated\, and academics cover related insights or result
 s generated by their research.\n\nThe lectures are open to the Yale commun
 ity.
