DESCRIPTION:The Blue Center for Global Strategic Assessment and the Schmidt
  Program on Artificial Intelligence\, Emerging Technologies\, and National
  Power\, will co-host a lecture on “AI and National Security” as part 
 of the Blue Center’s Co-Lectures in the Theory and Practice of Statecraf
 t series. The lecture will be delivered by Ted Wittenstein\, Senior Lectur
 er and Director of the Schmidt Program\, and Tantum Collins\, CEO and co-f
 ounder of Inherent\, and former Director for Technology and National Secur
 ity on the National Security Council.\n\nThe series pairs practitioners fr
 om government and industry with Yale professors to deliver joint\, hour-lo
 ng lectures on subjects of mutual expertise. Practitioners discuss events 
 or policy initiatives in which they participated\, and academics cover rel
 ated insights or results generated by their research.\n\nThe lectures are 
 open to the Yale community.
