About this Event
320 York Street, New Haven, CT 06511
The International Leadership Center hosts an encore film screening of "Transit" film with award-winning filmmaker and Yale World Fellow Mariam El Marakeshy, followed by a Q&A with Mariam.
The groundbreaking documentary brings powerful intimate stories of migrants who risked their lives crossing the sea to Europe only to get trapped on the Greek island of Lesvos, with no future and closed borders. A place that was supposed to be their transit stop became the end of their journey.
