The Social Innovation Iniative will host a discussion, "Trust as a Health Intervention: Wellbeing through Indigenous Circle Practices," with Ivelyse Andino, CEO of Radical Health.

Inspired by indigenous circle practice, Ivelyse Andino founded the first public benefit corporation in the state of New York to build community around health. Building on her lived experience navigating the U.S. health care system as a young adult supporting help her immigrant mother, Ivelyse’s vision is that “no one has to health alone.” Drawing on her background in tech, she built Radical Health to work at the intersection of tech and community health. Radical Health provides care management, community circles, an online community platform, training and fellowships. They work with individuals, community groups, and city health departments.

The discussion is part of the Social Innovation Initiative's Fall Series, “Rooted in Wisdom: Indigenous Practice in Social Innovation Around the World.” Caribbean food will be served for dinner!
