 aimed poet\, theologian\, and mediator Pádraig Ó Tuama\, who will discus
 s his work in expression and mediation\, exploring how poetry can confront
  the trauma of conflict and history and reveal human connection.\n\nPádra
 ig Ó Tuama is Professor of the Practice of Spirituality and Poetry at Yal
 e Divinity School. As a poet and theologian\, his work centers around them
 es of language\, power\, conflict and religion. Working fluently on the pa
 ge and in public\, he is a compelling poet and skilled speaker\, teacher a
 nd mediator. He presents Poetry Unbound with On Being Studios. From 2014-2
 019\, he was the leader of the Corrymeela Community\, Ireland’s oldest p
 eace and reconciliation community. With undergraduate and postgraduate deg
 rees in theology\, multiple professional qualifications in conflict mediat
 ion (specializing in groups)\, he also holds a PhD (Poetry & Theology) fro
 m the University of Glasgow.\n\nLunch will be provided.
